2011 Annual Copper Creek Bowls Ride and BBQ Part 1

Well it is that time of the year again to start planning the Annual Copper Creek Bowls Ride and BBQ.

Saturday April 9 is looking like a great date. Should still be able to ride from the parking lot.

I will bring a BBQ, turkey fryer, Beans, and probably half the plates and silverware.

We need burgers, buns, chips, Ty's (Teresa’s) Incredible Salsa, Spud's spuds, more plates, salads, desserts, etc....

We also need a head count.

Pam...So I'm riding with my boys from Troy a few weeks ago....and Rosco pulls up and says check out my new sled...its a 910...so I'm looking it over and its lookin good then I look at the tunnel.....and its PURPLE!! There is only one purple tunnel tricked out 910 of that vintage that I know of isn't there..??

Rosco is on the Spokane Thread...I just posted a few pics from Lincoln last night and tonight...you should poke your head in there and see if Rosco's on your ol hot rod..

Hope you are having a good response on SW to your 4m ride...it will be good to ride with some familiar faces.....We may only have 4...but it could be 14 real easy just like last time...lol

Heard about this ride and was interested in more details about it. My neighbor and i were planing on going and possibly others. Does it cost anything to go? Where can we find more details?

Doesn't cost anything. What else do you need to know?

It will cost fuel to get there, ride, and back home again, otherwise it does not cost. It is encouraged that you bring something, donate towards the burgers, or both.

It is April 9, 2011. I will go up this weekend and see where parking is etc... If the parking lot is still open, we will have the BBQ at the parking lot around 5 until whenever. We usually head down around 4 to start BBQ'ing and prep'ing.

This is just a fun time for everyone and anyone to get together and ride and enjoy the warmer days and BBQ.

Ragged, I have not heard from you forever. How are you? Hope you gave Rosco a lot of crap about the sled. However, I still have mine. No 910, just a little stock 800. I stripped the tunnel as it has taken a beating over the years. Currently, it is a garage ornament since Sean totalled it last May. He did start working on it though, which he should be doing now instead of posting on here. He now has a shed ornament and 3 garage ornaments. Wrecked mine into a tree last May, currently replacing pistons and re-nic'ing the cylinders on his 07 M1000, broke the crank in Cooke on his 1000 PolCat, and still has his Doo 670 in need of a rebuild. He is riding Jaci's 600 Poo. I pulled one of your moves in Cooke and got away just like you used to. 25 ft plunge head first off a cornice and into a hole in the open creek with large boulders. Two cracks in the hood and a broken Muff Pot bracket. Got her out, pulled the plugs, rolled her over to drain the water, and she started right up. I should have bought a lottery ticket that day.

Not only sledless, but the spare was towed out with him on it too.
