Barn find 1974 Whisper Jet
Now that I got your attention! (sorry!)
My niece, has in her barn, a 1974 Snojet Whisperjet. Her husband says he parked it there "Maybe 15 years ago" under it's own power, covered it up and hasn't paid any attention to it since! I saw it but didn't have a camera with me (Bummer). It's dusty but in one piece and from what I could tell, in VERY good condition.  The bumper's straight, (Rare!) the hood is perfect and not faded. The seat is perfect and still soft, not "crunchy feeling"! He has no idea what it's worth and neither do I so I'm trying to help him out by finding some info about it. He said "If someone gave me a little money for it they can take it away"! I'll get him to take a picture of it and Email it to me but it looks just like the stock picture below but dusty with some surface rust on the skis! I was very surprised at the good shape it was in. It looked like you could just wipe the dust off and pull the motor over and take it for a spin! So what could it be reasonably worth? Thanks for your input. AR.

I wouldnt know a price, but It sounds like a collector needs this. Do not sell to just anyone. I would get on a vintage site. Obviously more popular back east, it also depend on where it is located. If you need some vintage sites pm me, on my phone and I don't have them memorized.

You never know, you might hit the right collector, but I think it would get a little more if it was back east. The thunder jets will bring more money. That sled should have the Yamaha engine in it.

Old sleds are Extremely common around here-Spokane is not far from me. Most of the old sleds like that list for a few hundred bucks on CL. I have seen quite a few of them being given away free including large collections of 10 or more.
