How old and what type of electrical does it have? I have an old generator maybe 30-35 years old that I'd love to get running and put in my truck. Dosent have any spark. I got it for free because of that. Dont know alot about those old small engine electrical systems.

The engine pictured above appears to be a relatively late model Briggs and Stratton with the electronic ignition integrated into the ignition coil. (this can be confirmed by the small bulge in the plastic coil winding cover)
I worked in a lawn mower shop for several years right out of high school.

Bump, I will gladly try and answer any questions you have if you wanna try and get it working. Let me know how I can help.
