Default 509 lenses & goggle fan

Finally made it out in some good snow for a trip.

509 goggle fan, one word, AMAZING. Good bye fog
Super easy to install, can't hear running while sled is going.
I had them on the sinisters, at first look through, it takes away a small amount of view. After wearing them for an hour its not really noticeable IMO.

I tried out 3 different lenses this last weekend.

1: rose tint for the aviators: wore these on a cloudy/overcast day with slight snow fall. When i first put the goggles on I didn't notice a big difference in definition. However, after on a few minutes my eyes adjusted a little and wow, things came to life. I really like this lense

2: polarized brown in the sinisters: wore these a little bit on in snowy conditions and slight overcast/breaks of sun. Snow definition is amazing, can see all the bumps (rocks) and depressions. Came out late the one night, once it got dark, too dark to use IMO (but didn't expect them to work amazing past dark)

3: polarized black in black ops: tried them when it was snowing and overcast. They were a bit dark for my liking in the trees where light was pretty low. Sun came out for a little bit the one day for a couple hours, thats where these lenses shined IMO. Made good protection from glare, and brought out good definition.

Have a couple more lenses that i'm going to swap out and try again next trip. Biggest wow was the goggle fan though. Things flat out work, if you ever have a problem with fogging, GET ONE.

Where did you find the fan, I looked on the 509 site and couldnt find it, I also emailed 509 and Tom a few weeks ago with no response. I dont have any problems with the sinisters but the aviators fog every time.

I haven't seen them on Tom's site either.
I ordered the original one I got from Ms Swimmer through Trax to Treadz and got the fan in a few days.
I got the second one directly from the 509 booth at the snow show... Same price.
PM Jan and she'll give you her discount code for ordering.

tried the new 509 goggle and fan combo yesterday.
went out and marked the trails for the groomer
decided to do everything with helmet on just to see if the fogging
was a problem. i walked up and down the trail putting in fence and markers in no issues
i tried to make them fog and couldnt great product
the only concern i did have is the goggle lens i think i have a bad lens
this was the first time i put them on i had to remove the protective
film in the parking lot
the lens has a weird line through it left to right just under the center of the lens
if the sun hits it right everything is all distorted
anyone else experience this??
i need to call them
not to worried looks like a manufacturing defect that happens but still
i am thrilled with the goggles , fan combo

Polarized Gold is awesome in flat light. I've tried clear, rose and orange- so far the gold is the best in low/flat light

Yeh sorry no love on the polarized aviators. Being colorblind I've has to try several colors to see what my eyes like.

Gold seems to be doing it it flat light which is where we all have issues seeing. Launching off a 10 ft drop unexpectedly sucks.

The fan is made by haber vision for 509. The 509 fan will fit in other goggles but the regular fan wont fit 509 goggles. Diff design. Got them in are 509 goggles. Work killer except the battery cover broke first time i changed batt.
