Has anyone installed a 40/34 helix on there m8 i was going to go with a 40/36 or 42/36 but the dealer has a 40/34 in right now and i am in a hurry, he is also telling me it will work well on the m8. I guess my question is what will be the difference? i am thinking i may gain a bit of top end over the straight 36 but it will hit harder out of the hole or am i off on the top end thing? its a dalton helix from D&D, thx

i run the 40/36, the 40 will hit harder on the bottom, would think the 34 may be a little tall for the top but have never riden one.

I have the 40/34 RTK on my 07 M8 with the SLP exhuast package and it rips. I ride 6-9,000 and use Cat 68g weights never had an issue hitting 8100 RPM.

try it and see, you can always drop weight if your R's arent there.
