Default suspension setup

i have a 2010 summit X 163, and am wondering about suspension setup. i weigh about 230 lbs, geared up, and i ride in the mountains out west, in as deep snow as i can find... i would say close to 50/50 boondocking/climbing...i've replaced the stock springs with the heavier ones, and that's all i've done, suspension wise... i have not played with the rear shock pre-load, or the limiter strap...anyone have any ideas? thanks!

Setting up the back of a sled is easy. First push down on the rear bumper all the way to suspension bottom. Take a measurement from the bumper to the floor. Then pull the rear up to full extension, take that measurement, bumper to floor. Then climb up on the sled into riding position. The suspension should drop (with your weight) to half travel. That sets up the rear. The front of the skid frame is a little more of "to taste" as is the front of the sled. I like the front of my skid frame to be as soft as possible without making the front of my sled feel heavy. I feel this allows the front of the track to "climb" out of a trench. I would start somewhere in the middle of the road there.
I like my front shocks to stand tall with my weight but not so stiff as to beat me to death. This, like I say is just "to my taste" and may not suit everyone.
Hope this helps.
