Default 2009 IQR 600

Just wondering what the horsepower of a stock race sled is??? A friend keeps telling me 145hp but that seems way to high for a stock 600 I know its a new style motor but yeah, if it was a mod it would be another thing. Any help would be great thanks

Not certain on the number but 145 does not sound out of the ballpark. My old 440 racer was said to have 120 on race gas and 95 on pump gas.

I'd believe 145 from a modern 600.

I know Polaris for the last couple years were saying 127hp out of the HO carb version and 125 out of the CFI version of the sled. That would be a baseline for ya. Now if they ran them on race gas adn different configurations, 145 would not be a far fetch.

I believe 135 on race gas is in the neighborhood with that sled.

The carb version is 120 HP, CFI 125 HP. The long stroke 600R Engine makes high 120's (pump gas timing on F or G) to mid 130's on good fuel with timing turned up an aggressive tune. The mod 600's make 150-155 HP on 110-114 Octane fuel at 8800-9200 RPM.
