ho cylinder base gaskets
How critical is it to use the skidoo gasket set to match up base gasket thickness? Jobber sets are a third of the price but only come with 1 gasket and it is . 4mm thick. My originals are .6mm. Is this a no brain no problem sitution, or should I cough up for the oem set?

Last set I used was from winderosa. Came with 3 gaskets (4mm, 6mm, 8mm). I also have used the OEM units. Have had no problems with either on. The 4mm unit you have will change the port timing slightly and also increase compression.

Would you know a part number off hand? My winderosa kit only come with the 4 mm gasket. Thanks for your help

The Winderosa set I have here is for the 600 non ho. Can't find the kit number for the 800 set that I had. I did get it from HPE.

i have a complete gasket kit kickin around at my house for an 800 HO, plus a dual ring piston with pin and bearings, and used jug. willing to sell, just to thro that out there
