Dying to get that first 40! New M8 SP 153 a month ago and it's still on the trailer. This is my first Cat, after years on a Summit,... rode a friend's 08 and really looking forward to the improvements to the '10's.. Glad to hear your first 40 went good...

What did you like compared to the others??? Give us some details!!

Yes more details. How does the power compare to the 09?

At the 60 mile mark, power feels similar to an '09 with slp pipe, snopro style front intake and tuning box. A bit better throttle response with the '09, but the '10 still had premixed oil in the tank and more break-in to go. Awesome stock sled.

It came setup with 68s for 6-9K. I put in a gold primary spring and left the 68s in until it breaks in a bit. Was pulling 8150-8200 in DEEP heavy snow at 6K. Didn't get a good look at track speed.

I'm not the envious type, but you my friend have the sled that I dream about.

If it came in a 162 then it would be perfect.

I did a demo this spring for a day up around Big Sky this spring and I honestly thought it put to shame my 07 m8. We had an 09hcr and m8, some 09 poos and doos, some older 900s and a modded sled, and the 2010 went up and over the top everytime. The power was something else. I signed the papers that afternoon on an le. So far just the cruise around the house a few times, but maybe this afternoon or tomorrow for some break-in.
