Default Adjusting the choke cable

Replaced the choke cable on my 98 700. It has the Keihn carbs.
I see there is an adjustment range for the cable right at the carb. How do I set this? Don't have an owners manual for this sled either.

adjust it so it just has a bit of slack in the cable, not much just enough to tell there is slack.

Got it! Took the carb off the boot and could see the choke slide through a little hole. Was obvious where to set it from there.
