Default 503 upgrades

Im buying a 03 503 snowhawk this summer. And I was told that there are a few upgrades to the clutches that help alot. The p-85 primary and cat secondary, i guess Im just wondering what year polaris and cat sleds to be looking for these parts on? And also any links to other aftermarket parts for this hawk would be nice thanks

Check out page 2 of the "First Time taking hawk apart" thread. There's a nice piece to raise and move forward the handel bars for $99. Given that you're not a small guy, you'll probably want that or something like it.

You might call bud (406) 370-4960 to discuss clutching. He sells them all set up and ready to go.

A frame streghtener kit (Theirry $150ish) and an anti stab kit (Steve Sampson $150), are other items to consider.

It sucks to be waiting nine months for the next chance to ride!!

Probably not a good idea. We tip them over on the side so much you would probably get air sucked in.

Very good point never thought of that. Is upgrading these to a chain drive worth the money and where do you get the parts for it???

any of the keyed AC roller secondaries from 96?on,up till they went to diamond drive in 05?

You need the 30mm taper from the mid ninety's-02ish-the Liberty primaries will have a 33mm taper and wont fit. A quick glance at the outer cover will show you the manufacture date of the primary
