Default Stucks that make you go HHmmmmmmm........

Ever start to do something and you just know it isn't going to end well, but you hit it anyway?

We had just had a 4' massive snow dump and I decided I didn't want to ride around on the trails. Granted there was 2 and half feet of fresh snow on the trail, but no, I wanted to take off up this super narrow, no way out once your committed trail to one of our hidden gems.
2 hours later we got out and headed around on the trail.

Wingnut was NOT amused.

The reason he wasn't amused is he followed me.

After that, we just hit the trails and headed around the long way.
Sometimes riding the trails can be run. Especially when they groomed the trail smooth and then another 2 and half feet of snow fell on it.

Yeah, I was out last weekend with this chick I had just met and... oh you meant on a snowmobile!
I can't think of a single time I ever told myself "this isn't going to end well" but I hit it anyway. Nope, not once...

I don't think it was so much the off trail part, it was the 20-30 degree incline I was going up while going off trail.

the thing that makes me wonder is why do we call them shortcuts but yet they always seem to take longer to get there that way than if u just went the trail

We would kill to have that problem up here this winter! We've had 2 dumps all winter long of 1-2 feet each. That is it for snow all winter. Pretty slim pickings. Time to get the boat out. Except it's still -10 or colder every night Even had the mx bike out running the ditch trails the other day as that is more fun than the sleds with these conditions other than being colder than He!!....
