Default Rant

Been down this road before but I just can't help myself .

For the likes of me I just do not understand this sludge they apply to the intersections . At times it has to give gorilla snot a run for it's money leaving roads so slick black ice would be a thing of the past .

That crap is amazing , it made a 250 mile round trip only to be washed off along with it the buffed in wax job .

Now where do you suppose that stuff ends up ? For me unfortunately it goes into the septic field but at least I can feel comforted that it didn't make it's way to the sewer system only to end up in the inlet . So I should be grand fathered in if the ground eventually becomes contaminated .

Bright side is this stuff is suppose to reinforce the asphalt from breaking down but now that I think of it what good does that do when the studs are peeling the asphalt up anyway ?

Amazing with all this modern technology of vehicles with AWD , limited slip software , onstar , cell phones that so very few vehicles end up in the ditch .

Maybe I just remember when vehicles and the drivers didn't have all these modern day amenities or is it contaminates that they think can keep them out of the ditches .

By the way , before I washed the vehicle I wiped up the slime that slid off the vehicle , made a nice little greasy puddle since it doesn't evaporate . It was that thick on my vehicle .
Rant exhausted
