as long as the wind is less than about 40, I don't mind too much.

650lb bike makes a world of difference.
Was behind a BMW bike yesterday. He was all over the place, almost changed lanes into on comming traffic. I'll stick with my heavy bike. It didn't move.

Have the V-Max, and I still get moved around a bit (not as bad as the old sports bikes). Heavy bike is better in heavy winds.

First i have to say, i ride a big ass bike. 07 ultra classic cvo. that being said, learn counter steer. learn it and get comfortable with it. use it untill its second nature. And when the 40 mph gusts hit you, you can lay the bike into the wind with out changing lanes. I seldom have to use body weight, its all in the bars. Goodluck.
