Post 503 rectifier install?

Hey just doing some research on installing a voltage rectifier on my 503, apperntly these motors are very popular with the ultralight people and I see they install voltage regulators on there engines for electronics and batterys, exactly what I need. I currently just use a gel battery from my grxr wired into a standalone harness for the hand warmers heated visor gps and a hid headlight kit I installed,only run the led brake light off the original harness works great but don't want to have to plug it in and charge it I'd rather like to integrate it so here's the question

has anyone installed a voltage rectifier on a 503 if so what should I look for in terms mfg model Ect. I saw something like a 264 870 Phase Regulator don't know if that will work but it's from the aircraft site. But any Imput would be appreciated.

ski-doo makes a regulator/rectifier for there 503 sleds with electric start, that should do what you need and should cross over.

Do yu know if these rectifiers /regulators are universal? I have see on eBay ones stating 500 600 800 ski doo engines but I kninda think each engine requires a different one. Also is the ski doo 500 the same as 503, or do I need to find the 503 one. Also dose anyone know how many point stator is in the 503 and the output wattage.
