Default Avy Danger High up Fairview!

We were up Fairview on Tuesday and the Avy danger was HIGH. We were playing in Staker for about an hour when 3 other sledders came over the hill and started doing stupid stuff on the hills. Right when they showed up, one guy gets stuck about halfway up an east-facing hill and his buddy goes and turns out right above him. That was the first of many mistakes we saw them make in just a few minutes, so we decided to leave before they brought the entire mountain down on us all. Just as we were leaving I looked over my shoulder and saw a slide coming down the hill, exactly where the guy had been stuck. They all got away with nobody caught, but it just ticked me off how they were being so stupid. I went over and told them a couple things I noticed they were doing wrong and made sure they at least had beacons on. I told them how they shouldn't go highmark above someone stuck on the hill and they all just said "yeah, we know". I looked at the slide and thought to myself "obviously". They were clueless. It was pointless in trying to teach them something because they acted like they knew everything and just didn't care. So we decided to just stay away from them. The only camera I had with was my blackberry, so I only got a sketchy photo of the slide. It was about 50 yards wide and close to 100 yards long. Really wind loaded up top, so parts of the crown were close to 3' deep, but mostly about 1' deep where it wasn't as wind loaded. We're finally getting snow on the mountain, but it's really unstable, so be careful when you're out there and please use your head!

Sorry for the sketchy pic
