Default "Floating" the QRS

I just picked up a new 2011 XP Power tek (Stoked)!
But I need input from experienced XP owners.

I was reading on
DooTalk the other day about a kit built by a member there called DooDoctor that allows a more traditional jackshaft to be installed on an XP so that you can remove the QRS with the same 1/4" bolt that will remove the driven clutch from any REV or pretty much any Doo ever built.
No more removing the muffler and chaincase cover to remove the driven clutch. (important to me for cleaning)

It states that it is a direct replacement, WILL float the clutch, and sells for about $480.
The down side is that I have to remove the clutch and jack shaft and ship them to MN to have the work done to the clutch.
(the upside is that Big John does the work)
He would replace the helix and spring and one of the sheaves (spring for $25)
and then ship it back to me to install on the sled.
I think he claimed all this for around $550 (plus shipping both ways)

The other option is a new kit from SkiDoo which I'm not sure actually floats the clutch but if I buy the kit from Roosterbuilt and give them the sled to do the work (They are local) they WILL make sure it floats and do the whole install for around $550.
Should I decide to let them do ALL their magic on the clutches with their "RoosterBuilt clutch kit" AND the floater it will be around $1000 but they do all the work, set it up right AND they are local to stand behind it.
I've heard nothing but outstanding reviews about Paul and Dave and their set-up.

What are your opinions.
Which way would you go?

Ok, wonder if the QRS would work on the older style sleds with the splined shaft after this mod?

Thanks for the link. I'm on there quite a bit as well.

My guess is skidoo runs a different diameter shaft with the new set up so you need to run a diff bearing.

I have Doodoctors set up and am extremey with its quality and ease of assembly.
Being able to remove the Sec. is awesome.
