Citgo Sea and Snow. $18 a gallon semi synthetic oil. I buy it at Big R-not sure if you have those in Boise, its a Farm and Feed store.
XPS stinks anyway, but not as bad as Amsoil that stuff smells like poison.

Lol, I run the poison. They cannot tell you what oil to run, otherwise they would have to give it to you. As long as the oil meets the specifications, you are fine.

What ever meets factory specs. I run whatever is handy or priced right. Amsoil, Blue marble, Polaris oil(my local snowmobile dealer), some talk that maybe full synthetic maynot be the best. But then you have to clean extuste valves more often blah blah blah.....hole new thead....heck hole new fourm

Tell them to show you proof that you must use Doo oil, otherwise they have to supply it to you for free. I use the Polaris Blue Blend in mine, cheaper than the Doo oil and is the same semi-synthetic blend but different color.

Would never buy a sled where Amscrap was used. . . have a cousin that uses the cheapo Castrol and never had engine problems in his sleds, ever.

I run the XPS but it was free. In the past I have used Redline, Klotz, Amsoil, Blue Marble and even the Phillips 66 InJex stuff from Wal-mart. No problems at all. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe that it is some sort of law violation that they tell you that you are only allowed to use their brand oil. IMO, it's just a trap to get you to buy their oil at the huge markup.
