now for the only real issue related to running so far. not a big deal but just something to watch for on a new install. every time I got the motor up to temp I would find very small amounts of coolant drips down in the pan......tracked it back to the temp sensor in the head. I never touched it as it was installed when i got it so I tried just tightening it down to no avail. I drained the coolant down and pulled the sensor....reinstalled with new thread seal and all is good.

I have a video of the first heat cycle I will try to upload today sometime......This thing is gonna be a BEAST!

Had a similar issue with the heat sensor on my 04. New sealant and all was good.

RKT is available..... ......but the engine-tech is also available and I chose to go that route upon recommendations from friends.......BJ has been great to work with. Whenever I call or email, he either answers the phone or calls me right back. I've had some questions definitely this being my first BB.

lmao.......gonna be a while till Rebel is riding any sleds Rob

back to the question about cost.......I was thinking about it and I did add some options to run that cost up. I had my crank balanced....I added the new designed V-force reeds, and the engine-tech head. I think the base cost for SHR860 is 2K.....to be honest I didn't really ask. there are a lot of 860 kits out there....and I'm sure there are people happy with their kits. I based my decision purely on the fact I have never....and I did a lot of looking before hand.....found a negative review on the SHR kit from an actual user. I can't say that about others.

Looks good tho Kent, even though it takes you forever to swap an engine. I thought you said at one time you were going to stretch the sled to a 163, still in the plans??
