Default HPS can. Not really impressed

So my buddy has a '12 summit x and had an HPS can on it that he wanted to sell. So I picked it up for my '13 x it fits on tight and good but now when I get on it between like 5500 rpm and 6500 rpm it has a real slight bog and sputters. I've been told my multiple people that HPS is the only way to go on the e-tec. Is this normal or does something else need to be done or will it tune itself?? The sensors screwed in good and everything.

Ensure the exit port of the HPS is fully in the belly pan hole and not partially blocked off.

I would clean off the sensor and re-install.

Did you friends 12 etec run fine?

These HPS run flawlessly if there is no codes on your sled.

Try clicking down on the primary and see if that helps. They are sensitive to load....perhaps the HPS accentuates this issue. I have not heard of any problems with HPS, although anything is possible.

Finally got to go out for a decent ride cleaned off the sensor and tightened it back up and it still ran the same for a little while but than it came right out of it and now runs just like it used to
