Hello guys!
What would you do if you wanted to stiffen up the snowhawk? I had 3 rides on my hawk last year and I tried a few cliff drops with it. The one in the picture was the biggest I tried and bottomed out my suspension. Hurt my ankles, but it was fun! I still want to go bigger but if I do I need stiff suspension. Rear: I have the expert extreme suspension/skid on my hawk. It rides awesome, I just want it stiffer. Im not able to tighten the springs anymore, as they are at the hardest. Some stiffer springs would help I think. Have any of you tried some fox shocks on this skid? Forks: Clearly I need to stiffen up the forks. They are way too soft. Do any of you have some information about what springs I should go for, valving etc ? I see some here use the Yamaha KYB forks on the hawk. I bet some Kyb`s set up for freestyle motocross would be stiff, wonder how that would work on the hawk, lol. Any tips is appreciated!

Call the guys at snowhawk.ca they had higher rate springs available a few years back, they also told me they offer 52mm forks as an option

LMAO , Dude your killing me , your one badass mother or just nuts . You've got balls of steel jumping like that on a one ski . I sure as hell won't do it , one time cartwheeling over the bar was enough . I've got that skid back in until I cut down another 154 , try finding the Expert Express skid , it doesn't abuse the front as much . It floats better too but that Extreme is one mogul bashing mother WFO

![]() I quess its my freestyle motocross hobby that have made me love big jumps. I have never felt my hawk wanted to dig in and throw me over the bars. But i ALWAYS hammer the gas when i land. Thats what we always do on our dirtbikes too. That has saved my body from many over jumps.
