Wouldn't do much good if the holes/threads are wollowed out. They are pulling out. Not spinning and backing off.

Not sure they are wallowed. I'll know more tomorrow but it seems they are backing out. Helicoil seems like it'd be a pia with the motor/trans in. Not really looking forward to tomorrow night.

Helicoil shouldn't be tough to do at all other than to remove the starter. Which is pretty simple on that truck.

if standard go to next size up metric etc.

^^^What we ended up doing. Went to a 7/16 and used plenty o red. My fingers are crossed. Was just the bottom hole that was bad. Thanks for the ideas!
