Default Smoked Hamburgers

Need to do some burgers for basketball team camp about a hour from our place. Thinking of combining home ground burger with some chedder, little onion and garlic. Season it up abit and smoke them. Anybody had luck with something like this?

Thanks,

Steve

What type of smoker are you going to use?
Sounds like it's worth a try.

Have a good quality electric with apple or cherry or hickory pellets. Thought it would be good to do them up first then warm them up on trip down.

Not sure on time. Guess it depends on how thick they are and what not. The meatballs I smoked in apple wood at 200* and just checked them off and on till done... I "think" about 2hrs.

Made the burgers last night and came out great. For the burger we mixed graded chedder worchestire sauce and salt and pepper. Did four racks of six for about forty minutes. Was very easy and they came out great.
