I went to the sneak peek last night and snapped a couple of pics.

Couple of things that I noticed and my opinions.

The Yami motor is mounted higher in the chassis than the Cat 4 strokers. CG of these machines will be a bit higher. Also they are not using the torque limiting plate to keep the clutches center to Center in check. But with the motor mounts as beefie as they are it may not be needed.

There is an access plate that is in the bottom of the frame that you remove to access the oil filter and starter. This is a bit better access than what is in the fx nitro. I will say that the plate should be a bit thicker to prevent possible hits that could poke through it.

The reverse system should be fine it is the same one that cat uses now on the 4T.

The whole package is is packed pretty tight inside, but that is the direction they are all going. There is only one cooler in the front of the tunnel, and a rad in the nose. i am not sure why the decided to not have cooler run down the the top corners of the tunnel to a cooler in the rear.

I also think that some additional venting will be needed in front of the muffler and the clutches to keep the heat down. They did do a better job with the fit and finish of the panels and and have a nicer close off/vent near the handle bars than the cats do.

One thing that I complain about on all of the new sleds is the lack of storage. Personally there should be at least enough room to store a spare belt on the clutch cover somewhere. The stupid little bag that cat puts on the tunnel is a joke.

I like the looks of these sleds a LOT better than the nytro, it is interesting the way they ran the exhaust.

Any reason for them to do that?
I would think it would help balance the sled to run it out the back.
