4th of July Track Day @ IMI

Group of Adventure riders headed out to IMI in Erie for the 4th. Headed up there bikeless, but brought the mutt and the Nikon along.

Pulled into the lower parking lot, didn't see Geek's van... pulled up the meetup thread and he had posted "We got the tree!" ... Not a lot of trees out here (like, ther'es the ones pictured here and that's it), so once I found the tree the group was easy to find.



Yup, this is the right spot.

Deepinit showed up for a bit to say hi. He's been living in South America, visiting the states for a few days before heading back tomorrow for a month or two of riding motorcycles across S.America.


Had to try Geek's 500 too.


Fire up the grill... No spatula, so a tire spoon will have to do.

Urban singletrack. Cool track, but don't wreck... metal poles, pipes, disconnected electrical boxes, all sorts of unfriendlies here.






I need to ride with more photographers.

Crazy that track is tucked into so much infastructure.. loved seeing the oil pad right there... haha
