My winter home is in and now just waiting for some snow.

lots of opening day rush for the good spots again this year tim?

You know, when we got there, it was quieter than we expected. There was only one guy bitching about his spot that he had for the past 5 yrs. But its a first come first serve. He moved on. Also heard a fist fight broke out, but not sure if thats true or where it happened. We're heading out again this coming weekend to check things out.

Its for sledding camps in Kakwa. They have only so many near the trail head and if you miss out you're camping further back at the airstrip. Its not bad, but when spring comes the road melts and its all rock and mud and you're about 1.5km from the trail head. Opening day of set up was Oct 31. Usually they don't allow you to set up until Nov 1.
