Was pretty wet and heavy down low, but got lighter as you went up. Better than working!

Apparently some idiot rode in the wilderness at Harts pass and they closed the lower gate. We keep doing this and we won't have to worry about buying new sleds cause everything will be closed.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think the people that closed the gates give a rats ass ?

How do they even know if it was a sledding advocate ?

Apparently some X-skiers saw the tracks and took picks and turned it in. FS closed the gate until they can start patrolling the area. Methow club stated they would open the gate on 12/1. I am a bit irritated though there is no regard for the snowmobilers in this area. Seems to get worse every year. I would be willing to bet I can find some hikers or skiers breaking the laws, do you think they would shut down their trails if I do? maybe it is worth a shot.

Yeah, you are right. Turnabout here is not the answer. Don't need to give anyone more justification for closing access to our forests. I was just trying to illustrate that maybe one persons bad decisions (or likely ignorance of boundary) shouldn't ruin it for all of the users. Hopefully they open the gate here on the first like it was stated. we will see.
