Once I have this track figured out I will do the steering post mod. I have the 162 powerclaw on but even with the tensioners maxed the track is way too loose. Was hoping not to relocate the skid back, maybe the big wheel kit will be enough? I have the 04 model which has 8" wheels already, not sure 1 more inch will do it.

So, just to give an update. The final piece of the puzzle for me was a 2" offset rear axle. There was no way to tension the track enough without it. I went from a 159" attack 20 to a 162" powerclaw and used the factory 2006 kingcat extrovert drivers. I also used the BDX anti-stab kit. The drivers are slightly smaller than stock combined with the extra 3" of track made the offset axle necessary. The difference in deep snow is incredible and I am having no trouble keeping up with my buddys on 2015 M8 sleds.
