Edit: The Schneider Meadows snotel said they were up to 40", then dropped down to 27 with all the rain so there's a good base layer, and now it's packing it back on with the fresh snow today/tomorrow/saturday (back up to 33" after 0500 this morning).

Schneider Meadows is pretty low though so if storms come in and dump some moisture it doesn't take to much to climb up into the fresh snow.

Yeah, we were the first ones up there after the storm today and holy crap what a fun time. 20"+ of fresh powder and no one else on the hill yet. I know why people make the drive now, it's completely worth it.
