Default Setting up an M7

Hi Hobb-Z
My hubby was wondering if you would have any suggestions for him pertaining to his M7.
Right now it seems to be trenching quite a bit.

He's about 5'8" and 175lbs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Trish

Trish,

I ran my '05 M7 stone stock and got away with it. Some of the guys around here turned their track around in the so-called "hillclimb" position, but I don't think they floated any better. Mine was a 153-incher, I'm about same dimensions as you described your husband, probably just clumsier.....

Anyway, wish I could help. Mine clutched good outa the box and I only adjusted the fuel injector to lean it out a little, and that was it. Just ran 87/88 octane in it and Redline for oil. Couldn't have been happier, but that's a little like describing a toddler with a choice between a lump of coal and a diamond to choose from - pretty much wouldn't make much difference...

Stovebolt

ps - sorry the shirt hasn't gotten to you yet - I ran out of XL for Ernie and need to get some more going - it will be after Christmas, I apologize....

Aww thanks Stovey!! My dad will be so touched!
I'm going to get my hubby on here, so he can speak for himself. I signed him up. (subway is his name........ it's a long story...... he'll probably change his name. lol) We adjusted his ski stance and loosened up his front springs. Made a world of difference. (thanks Lionel)
Have a good one Stovey! thanks for your input!

I am just guessing here, but I assume its an 05 since thats the year of the one in your Avatar.

HPR front arm suspension brackets. These help the ride and performance because they keep the track from tightening up when the skid compresses. If it still has the attack 20 track under it, I am guessing it is in the HC position and it will trench. How about a little more info on the sled and riding style. What track is under it? Does it leap forward when you go to take off easy? What kind of riding do you do, powder, trail ride, hillclimb? Is the sled stock?
