Picked up a deck

Picked up a deck today. Next is a new (er) truck. Deck is really nice. Now I need to figure out a good way to anchor it to deck. The tie down brackets are rather cheesy on trucks these days.

Pic of the kid standing on it.

those are a nice deck mac. I would recommend bolting to the floor. I had one like that last yr and after every trip the turn buckles came loose somehow

Currently it's in with a few tie down straps. I needed to get it home. Kid is going to bring home some large aluminium plate for under the box.

Caliber LPGG's on top!

No doubt on the caliber products. Nothing up top yet. Just slippery plywood.......

You guys/gals with decks, what are you using to get a dead or damaged sled up on the deck. I am looking at a winch currently. When using the winch, how are you keeping the cable off the deck or crossmembers. Don't want to chew this thing up before it's a year old.

We had to load a dead sled last weekend. Luckily it was a 340 fan cooled.

my marathon deck came with synthetic cable. you could take the cable off and use a good rope all so

Deck works great, needed to upgrade the truck. Bought a 3/4 ton Dodge. Couldn't afford to get another fancy Ford. Heheheh
