Photography Equipment used to make your pics

What kind of photog gear do you have?

What would you like to have?

Features and price points to help other members choose...?

Sony DSC-H2. "Pro-sumer" style camera.... more than a point-and-shoot, but not up to a DSLR yet. 12x optical, 6mp... takes decent pics and doesn't cost a fortune.

Wouldn't mind having the flexibility of a DSLR, but I don't wanna pack $3k worth of camera and glass when I'm playing in snow/dirt.

Canon 7D
70-200mm IS f2.8 and 16-35mm f2.8 for glass
Really happy with it! :D

the camera is much better then the operator..one other cool feature I havent used yet is it will take 10 pics in 1 second(1 click of the button)..making it great for getting that great action shot....

We have a gypo Canon Powershot 610 or something that goes sledding with us, wifey doesn't want to take her digital Rebel XTi up on the hill for some reason.

packing the DSLR is not for everyone. I have found though that since i got a nice backcountry photography backpack that taking the camera and the lens is simple and easy, safe and secure.

The DSLR is a bit bulky, but our biggest concern is damaging our expensive camera.
